About Daniel Mumby Daniel Mumby has over 20 years experience in the logistics industry in disciplines that include marketing, operations and sales management. He was for many years the Corporate Asset Security Manager of Chep, Australia's largest pallet company. He then became Sales Manager of, first, an Australian key provider of design application software used in design and construction, and then a leading specialist logistics software developer, Interactive Freight Systems. His experience, apart from the very focussed business of pallet solutions, has included key business development roles focussed on the provision of services to government and industrial segments across Victoria, the development and implementation of numerous business and strategic plans; development of third party channels of distribution; and the negotiation of software development, sale and distribution agreements. His experience is across many organisations, from very small companies to large industry-leading corporate clients. He has also held a number of other key positions in supporting community organisations, including Strategic Planning for a two local Councillors, a Strategic Planning and Marketing role within his local community organisation, a facilitator and co-ordinator of a nationwide Parent's support group, Dads In Distress, as well as being involved in the development of a grass-roots political action group. Mr. Mumby received a Graduate Diploma of Business (Marketing) in Melbourne, and is currently undertaking a Masters in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (an MBA derivative). Mr. Mumby is also a keen (but as yet unpolished) golfer, and wishes to one day have some time to actually play the game again. Given his extensive industry experience and background, he also has access to a wealth of other professionals from which to call upon to help complete any project.
